Track Drupal internal search queries in Google Analytics

Go to the View of the Analytics account of the Drupal website you're tracking. 

Click on View Settings and scroll to the bottom. 

Under Site Search Settings, enable the Site search tracking box and fill in the correct query parameter:

Save and you're done!
